R4.10 Released - Potion Bombs, New Spells & Magic Staffs
The October 2026 update R4.10 - October 2026 for “The Dungeon - Get Out” and the corresponding Level Editor is now officially released!
After last month’s release was all about building dungeons, this one is about what you take into them. Your party gets a whole new bag of tricks: bombs to throw, spells that change how you move through the maze, potions and spells that make your heroes stronger for a while, and a weapon that casts magic on its own. And everything new is waiting in the Level Editor, ready for your own levels.
Potion Bombs

Four potion bombs join the arsenal: the Fireball Bomb, the Ice Bomb, the Poison Bomb and the Fear Bomb. Equip a stack in a hero’s weapon hand and every attack throws one — the flask tumbles end over end in a short arc and bursts on whatever it hits. A bomb that lands on a monster group hits every monster in it with its elemental damage, and the ice, poison and fear bombs can also freeze, poison or frighten them. Only the monster’s resistance to that element protects it; armor does not help against an explosion.
A bomb is lobbed, not hurled: it flies two tiles at most, so you have to get close. A bomb that hits a wall bursts right in front of it — and if that wall is the one next to your party, your own heroes are in the blast. A throw that hits nothing at all is not wasted: the bomb simply lands on the floor and can be picked up again.
New Spells
Three new spells change how you get through the maze:
- Open Door sends a small bolt of light that opens a door it hits. It only works on doors that are not part of a puzzle — a door opened by a switch, a lock or any other mechanism stays shut, so the riddles in a level keep their meaning.
- Invisibility hides the whole party for 30 seconds. Monsters neither chase nor attack you while it lasts — until you attack them, which gives you away to that group.
- Look Through Wall cuts a round, see-through hole into the wall straight ahead for 30 seconds. The hole follows your view as you turn and walk, so you can check what waits behind a wall before you go looking for the way around.
They are joined by a set of support spells — Haste, Endurance, Agility, Might, Shield and the four elemental shields — that raise one hero’s speed, stamina, dexterity, strength, armor or a resistance for a minute. To go with them, the game now has temporary potions for exactly the same skills. Every running boost shows up as a small icon on the hero, so you always know who is buffed and for how long it is worth waiting before the next fight.
Magic Staffs, Long Bows and Heavy Crossbows

The magic staff is a new kind of distance weapon: instead of firing ammo, it casts a spell. Each staff carries a number of charges; every attack casts its spell — a fireball, a lightning bolt, a poison cloud and more — and uses one up, without costing the hero any mana. The attack button shows how many charges are left, and once they are gone the staff is just an ordinary stick. That makes it an emergency weapon for any hero, not only for your mage.
The bow family grows as well: long bows and heavy crossbows are heavy distance weapons that reward strength as much as dexterity.
The Empty Flask

Drinking no longer makes a flask disappear: after a potion or a water flask, an empty flask stays in the hero’s inventory. Take it to a fountain and you can now choose between drinking and filling the flask, so water no longer has to be found — it can be carried.
Smaller Touches
- The Apple Watch now has a playable tutorial: the same guided first level as on iPhone, with short instruction cards made for the small screen
- Attacks show a slash animation across the screen, so every swing is visible
- Magic scrolls glow, so a spell scroll stands out among the other items
- The stats view has been reworked and now shows what each hand is holding
- Sharing level packs got easier: when someone sends you a pack, the game tells you it has arrived and offers to play it right away, and the built-in editor can start the pack you are working on with a single tap
In the Level Editor
Everything above is available for your own levels — in the standalone Level Editor and in the editor built into the game alike:
- Potion bombs are a new ammo type. Set the elemental damage and the bomb deals it — the strongest element decides whether it burns, freezes, poisons or frightens. Choosing an ammo type now also picks a matching model and icon, so a bomb is a flask with a burst icon right away.
- Magic staffs: give a stick the Magic class, choose its spell and set its charges.
- Weapon classes follow the 3D model, with a heavy class for long bows and heavy crossbows.
- Special items like the empty flask — objects without an effect of their own, made for quests and riddles.
- The temporary potions come built in, ready to place in your levels.
- All new spells can be put on scrolls, given to monsters and cast from spell triggers.
- Help buttons on the item, monster and language screens open the matching tutorial page.
- Exporting a level pack now offers to get the game if it is not installed yet.
The Lite version of the game now also runs on Apple TV, Apple Watch and Mac.
And as usual, both the game and the editor come with a round of stability improvements and bug fixes.
Thank you for playing! More adventures await in the maze. Development is still ongoing — stay tuned for the next updates!
